AgriFestival returns to Lugano as part of the Autumn Festival, transforming the lakefront into a showcase of Ticino agriculture where visitors can meet local producers and discover the region through markets, tastings, educational activities, and a space dedicated to wine.

Here you can meet farms and artisan food producers, discover their specialties, and buy local products directly from those who make them. Farms with Ticino regio.garantie certified products, Bio Suisse, and other excellent examples of Ticino agriculture will be present.

Educational activities
Get hands-on and learn by doing with School on the Farm!
At AgriFestival, agriculture is experienced firsthand. Throughout the event, Ticino agricultural sectors through School on the Farm (SIF) will offer workshops, demonstrations, and hands-on activities for children, families, and curious people of all ages.

Corte dei Patrizi
Emotions on the path of Bacchus among grapes, vines, and the 120 years of merlot
La Corte dei Patrizi returns to the Courtyard of the Lugano City Hall—a space dedicated to showcasing the Patriziati, the territory, its traditions, and its products.
This year, thanks to the collaboration between the Patriziati of Lugano, the Ticino Vine and Wine Interprofession, Ticinowine, Federviti, the Ticino Agri-Food Competence Center, and the Mezzana Professional Green Center, the initiative offers a journey of discovery into Ticino viticulture and wine, marking 120 years since the first Merlot vine was planted in Ticino.
Through various stages, visitors will learn about the vine’s life cycle, viticultural practices, and the products derived from them, deepening their understanding of the connection between landscape, culture, and wine production across the Canton’s different regions.
There will be an opportunity to discover how tradition and innovation work together to keep the territory’s identity alive.

Autumn Agriesperienza: discover AgriFestival with a guide
The guided tour created for AgriFestival.
A guided tour among the stalls of AgriFestival and the Autumn Festival, where tradition, taste, and encounters with producers come together in a unique atmosphere.
Accompanied by an expert guide, you will meet local producers, taste their specialties, and discover the region through stories, interesting facts, and authentic flavors.
The tour will conclude in the charming Corte dei Patrizi with a guided tasting aperitif. A sommelier will guide participants in discovering the pairings between Ticino wines and local products, to enhance their aromas and characteristics.
